Grandchildren are the crowning glory of the aged; parents are the pride of their children. – Proverbs 17:6
This is a photo of my three wild ones with their great grandmother – our Meemo. They love her so and I love that they do because it’s such a testimony to the kind of woman she is – at the age of 84, she is still all kinds of fun and ready to play. This was at Easter and we all laughed about the fact that at some point, this chair was brought out and everyone in the family took a picture with Meemo – it was reminiscent of a prom background from the days of high school which made it even funnier. Please note that approximately eight shots were taken with my three and this is the best one of the eight. I am certain that Solomon just downed a chocolate egg, Susannah was annoyed with her hair, and Sawyer had just spotted an airplane. Here are some more photos for your viewing pleasure…
I purchased some self-tanner for my legs after I saw this shot…Whew – almost transparent…
The best shot of the day goes to my mother whose shoulder was the lucky winner of where Solomon chose to deposit his gum…

Isn’t that where all chewing gum goes? I always thought my mom or grandmom’s personhood was the best trashcan. ;)
Being a cream-colored girl myself, I love your, ahem, “transparency.” *grin*
Thanks for sharing the precious pictures of your grandmother with us all. They really are terrific, and it’s so important to celebrate those relationships!
