Husband made it back from his hike to Machu Picchu in Peru and has beautiful pictures to show for it.  God’s glorious world truly is incredible, as cliche as it sounds.  Looking through his photographs, I was so reminded of one of my favorite verses – the 23rd Psalm.  How can you not think of this scripture when you see shots like these?

The laptop is dead for 2 – 4 weeks.  Huge bummer and huge inconvenience…I will be visiting as many WFW’s as I possibly can given my constraints – in the meantime, I thank you ahead of time for your grace.

The Lord is my shephard; I shall not be in want. (Alpacas anyone?)

He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,

he restores my soul.  He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

I will fear no evil for you are with me.

Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table for me in the presence of my enemies.

You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life and

I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
