Husband made it back from his hike to Machu Picchu in Peru and has beautiful pictures to show for it. God’s glorious world truly is incredible, as cliche as it sounds. Looking through his photographs, I was so reminded of one of my favorite verses – the 23rd Psalm. How can you not think of this scripture when you see shots like these?
The laptop is dead for 2 – 4 weeks. Huge bummer and huge inconvenience…I will be visiting as many WFW’s as I possibly can given my constraints – in the meantime, I thank you ahead of time for your grace.
The Lord is my shephard; I shall not be in want. (Alpacas anyone?)
He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,
he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil for you are with me.
Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table for me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life and
I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Oh my these pics are gorgeous, loved the parallel to the 23rd Psalm….
but the POST BELOW was absolutely one of the best things I’ve read in a LONG time…perhaps it just made me feel better about how my “run through hell in gasoline panties.” I laughed, I cried…I am SO glad I read on! It can only, one assumes, go up from here, right??
Be assured that this is my NEW FAVORITE phrase…email me (slmdhmac@yahoo.com) so that I can give credit where credit is due since I’m thinking about having it tatooed…(KIDDING of course!) I just know this one will come in handy! A nugget…
Peace as you run! :)

Beautiful, and such an appropriate scripture to go along with the photos.
