I wish I had the addresses of each of you and could mail this directly to your home, but alas, this is not going to be a reality.  Therefore, I wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas!!!!

So instead of mailing our family card, I’m posting  it to you.  Yes, I know you will see the “real” names of our children but that’s OK – I only change them when I write  so they won’t be searchable and revealing their actual monikers a few times will not allow any crazy people out there to find them on Google.   Whew.

Note the verse – one of my favorites…James 1:17: “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights.”

Because it is.  Every good and perfect gift, and there are many, is from Him.

I’m going to take some time off of writing for a bit because I first and foremost want to focus on only my Savior and my family but also because I want YOU to focus on your Savior and your family.  I’ll be back after the new year.

Enjoy this time, friends.  Play some games.  Laugh.  Say “yes” to Candyland for the fourth time in a day.  Make hot chocolate.  Don’t check e-mail. Or Twitter.  Or your favorite blogs. Just be present and fill your cup as we prepare to greet a new year and all if it’s exhilarating wonder.
