In the spirit of Ann Voskamp’s usual weekend posts, a pictorial account of our own “Snapp Family” weekend…

Weekends are for…

Daddy/Daughter Dances…Complete with matching ensembles and a corsage…

Kisses that communicate she’s of value, that she’s treasured by her daddy, that there is someone always there to protect her heart…

Boys.  Need I say more?

Mimi – a beloved Grandmother…

Celebrating 85 years of life…

Eating mashed potatoes while sporting your first tie and not being happy about it (the tie – the potatoes were a hit…)

Time with a much-beloved cousin and her very “cool” husband…

On this Multitude Monday, God, I am so thankful for:

331.  An 85 year old Meemo I’ve been blessed to love for 37 years

332.  Time with family to honor this wonderful lady – both immediate and extended

333.  Seeing my sweet boys wear their first ties

334.  Watching my little girl delight in her family and create memories

335.  A Saturday of errands in the snow

336.  The special treat of a “Happy Meal” and the squeals of delight when I say “yes”

337.  A slow Sunday…

338.  An afternoon reading in the tub

339.  Time to read the the entire Sunday paper over coffee

340.  Preparing for much-needed time with girlfriends as we travel later this week to the “Hearts at Home” Conference.

This week may you relish in the very people who hold you up, who surround you, who you celebrate and who celebrate you, who love you unconditionally.
