So my friend Amy posted this on her Facebook page this week and well, I loved it beyond words.
It is indeed the best apology I’ve ever heard. Love how he chastises the craziness of our sometimes overly-PC culture.
And since it’s Friday and I’m still adjusting to this get-up-at-5:45-if-I-want-to-ever-take-a-shower world of having a child in a full-day of school every day, I must keep it light. I’m tired and my bed beckons.
I’m beginning to get back into the deeper groove of writing next week AND a massive re-design is happening, too. I’m loving it and I hope you will as well.
Enjoy. Have a PC weekend, friends.
HA! That is hilarious and so true! Great apology indeed :)
A new design? How fun!
Have a great weekend Nat.
That.was.awesome!!!!!!!
Can’t wait to see the new design. Hope you’re getting adjusted to the new schedule..it can be pretty hard on all involved.
that is hysterical! it’s amazing how our society is. i think this is most definitely the best apology ever :)
So well-put. Thank you for sharing and making my day start with a smile.
Loved this! Laughed so hard. Unfortunate it is so true.
It’s a guilty pleasure of mine to see “un-PC” apologies. With tongue-in-cheek, they really say what’s wrong with society, but do it in such a self-depreciating manner that makes it “less rude” to go against the norm. I kind of wish there were a way to smack reality in the face by saying these things and really meaning it so that people could be changed for the better. Our society has a tendency to laugh things off and forget about things rather than fixing them. But I digress. Thanks so much for sharing — loved it! :)
this is really a very apology and one of the funniest I have ever some across. I feel it is something a unique way of feeling sorry for something and that on one of the big media channels that broadcast world over is also something unique. Great post.
