It looks like Clover from Clover’s Cup can run over to Mr. Random Generator and give him a big smooch for picking her blessed (not lucky) number three!!! Congratulations, Clover – I’ll email you the code later today.
BUT…You all blew me away with your gratitudes. So as we approach the week of Thanksgiving, I chose to use Mr. Random Generator to pick five of your comments to share here. Please be sure to go and read the others – you all wrote some beautiful stuff. I wanted to reply to each of them but then that would make Mr. Generator mad.
I’m grateful for YOU. Each and every one of you. Those who comment. Those who don’t. Those who agree with what I write and those who don’t. Those who visit daily and those who visit just once in a while.
You bless me abundantly.
From our winner:
For mornings like these I give thanks. Simple, ordinary mornings where all is right in my world. Mornings that I awake to the embrace of my husband, and warm cup of coffee ready and waiting. Mornings where two little boys and one young man (my beautiful, beautiful children) sit around the breakfast table joking and laughing and nobody spills their milk. Mornings that there are no arguments over lunches, and shoes and backpacks have not been lost in the shuffle. Simple, ordinary mornings that while driving my littles to school I get lost in HIM, and while I worship in the car singing praise to the sounds of Natalie Grants, His Great Name, I get swept away by the sound of two little boys in the back seat singing equally loud, word for word and my heart is simply filled with TOO MUCH GRATITUDE. I am so thankful for mornings like these, simple, ordinary, and all mine. – Clover from Clover’s Cup
Others chosen by Mr. RG – oddly enough, four of these five are my in-real-life friends. And no – not rigged. Just ask Mr. RG.
I am thankful, oh so incredibly thankful, for the blessing of my sweet family. Never in my wildest imagination could I have known what sweet joy can come from a loving God-centered family. I am thankful for God’s grace in giving me something so precious and for his continued guidance in helping my dear husband and I break the unhealthy cycle in our family trees so that our children can feel the unconditional love they so deserve from their earthly parents and their father in heaven. – Collette
I am grateful for a great many things in my life, but I can usually boil it down to being grateful every day that we are all healthy and that most of our family lives within close proximity. – Casey
What am I thankful for? Well, a hundred-bazillion things. [Just ask your children. That *is* a real number.]
But most of all – I’m thankful for Divine Grace!
Romans 5:1-2
‘Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. …Christ has brought us into this place of UNDESERVED PRIVILEGE where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.’
[And I’m thankful for friends that will even stand on the kitchen counter in their PJs to take a picture if it will help spread the Good News!] – Betty
I think what I am most thankful this year, is the way God has been stretching me in reaching out to make Him known. My heart is being changed by Him, to love the ones who are struggling in a life that is made out of consequences of living for the world. Living a hard life. This is not always easy! I have had my own heart broken when seeing that one of these sweet souls, chose Him and then shortly after chose to run from Him back to the World. It is so hard. However, He is good and is teaching me that He is in control (yes that one again…never gets old). And that all I have to do is to listen and obey. I am thankful that He is teaching me to trust Him and to watch Him work and be obedient despite the outcome.
I am also extremely grateful for my sisters of the heart that continue to bless me…my husband who is a true leader in Christ…and my children for teaching me more than I teach them and that they love me unconditionally! To God be the glory! – Melinda
Have a blessed weekend, friends. See you Monday.
Oh Yippee! I am BLESSED. Thank you, thank you. I look forward to placing another Dayspring order soon, it is a dangerous, dangerous place, and I am a card junkie!
What have I ever done to Mr. RG?? I must just not be random enough. Yeah, that’s it. I’m just too deliberate. Yeah, crazy is the new cool.
Looks like Mr. RG read this comment and made it up to you with the Heaven Is For Real entry……congratulations.
Isn’t that so funny, Clover? I think you are right – Mr. RG felt sorry for her…:)
