Last week, many of you were enthusiastic about the “10 Bible Verses I Want My Children To Know” post.
You, like me, desire for your children to know scripture yet…
Life. Sometimes it gets in the way of our best intentions.
I love to scribble notes and leave them for my big, bad second-grader to find in her lunch box and that’s when it hit me – I should write notes to her UNDER the scripture we are working on at home. Five days a week, she will see those lovely words in print and read affirmations from her mama while eating lunch. It will also be up on the tile at home.
If your children don’t take their lunches to school, cut them up and place them around the house where they will see them. So much goes into our subconscious that we don’t even know about and this is another way to get that scripture into Long Term Memory.

Perfect…timely….Sadie asked when I was going to start putting notes in her lunch box again yesterday. Ha! Will be using!

Great idea, I’m going to choose a couple of the easiest ones for my 1st grader! :)
Yes, some of them we will need to spend some more time practicing…:)
Not only is this a great idea for children — but I am writing scripture for my husband’s lunch box. Thank you for posting some o f my very favorite bible quotations.
